Tampa International Airport adds to what's becoming a showcase of local brands with the opening of five new outposts of Tampa Bay eateries this week.

Richard Gonzmart's Ulele and Goody Goody restaurants will both open their second locations Friday in the airport's Airside C terminal.

Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana, Louis Pappas and Fitlife Foods, which already have multiple locations in the Tampa Bay area, will also open at Airside C, where passengers board and arrive on Southwest, Frontier and Spirit airlines.

The restaurants will serve many of the same items as their larger locations. For Ulele, that means charbroiled oysters, the Ulele burger, portobello burger and Ulele salad, as well as "ale-style versions" of its Rusty's Red and Water Works Pale beers, the announcement said. Goody Goody will serve its POX burgers, coconut cream pies, the Carl salad and breakfast sandwiches, among other things.

All of the new restaurants will be open daily until the last flight departs from Airside C.

Also opening in the same part of the airport is a new Gonzmart concept, Café con Leche Ybor City, a grab-and-go shop serving coffee from Naviera Coffee Mills mills, Cuban sandwiches on La Segunda bakery bread and Spanish-style churros.

Airside C is already home to another quintessentially Tampa brand, Cigar City Brewing Co., as well as RumFish Grill and Shula's Bar & Grill.

The new restaurants join dozens of new shops and dining options that opened at the airport over the past year as part of a major renovation project. Tampa brands Four Green Fields, Ducky's, Buddy Brew Coffee and Bella's Italian Cafe have all opened locations there.

Columbia Cafe, one of several outposts of the iconic Columbia restaurant in Ybor City, has been open in the airport for years.

TARPON SPRINGS — The soprano sang an aria from The Marriage of Figaro about lost love, but she could have been asking the devil not to steal her soul. A couple dozen opera fans watched, including a silver-haired man with leonine features leaning back in his chair.
