Bay Pines VA Veterans Day Ceremony

The ceremony includes a performance by the Keswick Christian School Choir, a parade of colors, a firing salute, Taps, the posting and retiring of the U.S. flag and guest speaker U.S. Navy Adm. (Ret.) Veterans Day Freedom Fest

Two-day celebration includes live entertainment, food vendors, patriotic arts and crafts, resources for veterans, kids zone and more. Friday’s festivities include a Freedom Fighters Feast for invited veterans and dignitaries. Saturday’s festivities include a parade starting at 3 p.m. (starting at intersection of Gulf Drive and Grand Boulevard, heading north on Grand around Orange Lane, and ending on Bank Street). Hillsborough Veterans Day Tribute

The event recognizes active and former U.S. military service members from all branches of service. Includes remarks by Col. S. Veterans Day Boat Parade

See the 21st annual Veterans Boat Parade through the waterways of Madeira Beach and Treasure Island Saturday from 10 a.m-1 p.m. There will be a 10 a.m. opening ceremony : at the docks of the American Legion Post 273 north of Tom Stuart Causeway. Parade watch locations: Elks Lodge No. 1912, ROC Park, and John’s Pass.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When the team plays the Jets there will be a "Salute to Service" themed game with military tributes throughout the game and a halftime induction ceremony for new service members. Raymond James Stadium, 4201 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. (813) 350-6500. 1 p.m. Sunday.

Testament of Freedom

Una Voce, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Tampa Bay, joins with the Tampa Bay Symphonic Winds and choirs of Palm Harbor University High School to present a musical celebration honoring veterans. $20, $5 students, free veterans. Brooksville Veterans Appreciation Parade

The line-up starts at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot behind Brooksville City Hall. The parade will run from city hall on Howell Avenue through the downtown area. Free. 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. 10 a.m. Saturday.

Largo Veterans Day Ceremony

Join the city of Largo as it celebrates Veterans Day with a ceremony featuring music, a keynote speaker, military vehicle display, free flight bird presentations, youth activities and food trucks. Clearwater Veterans Day Ceremony

Gulfport Heroes Weekend

Dunedin VFW Veterans Day

Florida Humanities Speaker Series

Veterans Day at the Holocaust Museum

The museum will be offering free admission to veterans with ID. Active U.S. military members always receive free admission. Free Bus Rides for Veterans Day

The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority and the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority will provide free rides for all members of the armed services, both active and retired, as well as to their family members or dependents on Saturday. PSTA will also provide free rides on Friday. Riders are asked to show a valid military or veterans ID card when boarding any bus to qualify for a free ride.

American Stage Deals for Veterans

For this American Stage production of Much Ado About Nothing, a modern update of Shakespeare, active military receive one free ticket and 20 percent off companion ticket per show. Retired military receive $5 off single tickets through the run of Much Ado Much Ado or Shakespeare’s Lovers (Nov. 26). Use Promo Code: VET online or through the box office. Florida Aquarium

On Saturday, all veterans, active duty or reservist or National Guard members and dependents get one free ticket to the aquarium. Additional guests (up to 4 people) get $15 general admission. 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive, Tampa.

Chihuly Collection

Admission is free for active duty military and veterans. Up to three guests can visit for $5. A live glassblowing demonstration at the Morean Glass Studio & Hot Shop behind the Morean Arts Center is included with admission to the Chihuly Collection. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Chihuly Collection, 700 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.
