1 License-Free Saltwater Fishing Day: Held a few times a year in Florida, this free fishing day on Saturday provides an opportunity to introduce friends or kids to fishing. License requirements are waived for all recreational anglers (residents and nonresidents). All other rules regarding season, bag and size limits apply. The saltwater waiver applies to any recreational harvest requiring a saltwater fishing license. A snook or spiny lobster permit are not required this day. 2 Guardians of the Glow Galaxy: Ybor's Honey Pot is throwing a fabulously sparkling black light party at 9 p.m. Sunday with thousands of glow giveaways, interactive characters based on Guardians of the Galaxy, dancing to music from DJs Barry Harris and Bruce DeVery, $1 drinks from 9-10 p.m. and $3 Svedka drinks from 9-11 p.m. Free entry, $5 after 10 p.m. 1507 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. 3 Real Life Ghostbusters: Members of Paranormal Kicks Cancer, a local paranormal group, will reveal the ins and outs of discovering spirits that may be hanging around. Unlike the movies, this ghostbusting requires a lot of time and patience. The group will show video clips, display equipment and share stories. Free from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday. 4 Sleep Rocks! On the Beach: This Sleep Tampa Bay event to raise awareness about sleep health and sleep disorders will bring in a guest speaker, Gina Dennis of the website Madcap Narcolepsy, before the group goes on a half-mile walk on the beach followed by a rock painting session. $5 donation is suggested. 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday. 5 Children's Book Reading Cat Event: Children's author Michalla Brianna will read from her latest book Lilly the Kitten's Day of Play.
