Male victim hospitalized after shooting in west-central Tampa

TAMPA — A male victim was taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting in west-central Tampa on Friday night.

Lieutenant G.A. Neal said police had no information to release about the suspect, motive or the victim's condition.

The shooting took place at 8:40 p.m. in the 1500 block of Walnut Terrace, off of North Oregon Avenue and north of Spruce Street.
