The C-SPAN bus is coming to Tampa Bay

The C-SPAN bus is taking a break this week from its cross-country trip to all 50 state capitals to visit the Tampa Bay area.

C-SPAN launched the cross-country bus trip to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its bus program, which the network says is an effort to engage with educators and local community members on important civic issues.

The revamped bus that will visit Tampa Bay will have the following upgrades, according to a network press release:

"Students and teachers are invited aboard the bus to learn about C-SPAN Classroom, a free online educational resource, and C-SPAN's national documentary competition, StudentCam," the network added in the release.

The bus will make the following bay-area stops Tuesday and Wednesday:
