Kevin Knox, Gators’ KeVaughn Allen first-team all-SEC picks

RECOMMENDED READING

Former Tampa Catholic star Kevin Knox and Florida guard KeVaughn Allen were both first-team all-SEC selections, as voted on by the league's coaches and announced Friday morning.

Knox is a five-star freshman at Kentucky and perhaps the best talent in Tampa Bay high school history. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward has already earned buzz as a potential one-and-done player.

Allen averaged 14.0 points per game last season during the Gators' Elite Eight run. His teammate, guard Chris Chiozza, was a second-team selection.
